With our FOOD & WINE Bike Lovers Experience, you can enjoy the best of Italian food and wine with no sense of guilt, as the calories will all be burned while you cycle.
Our Food Lovers Experience is a great way to explore Romagna, a region rich in wine producers, ancient fish markets that are still active, ultra-local restaurants, farms, wine and olive oil tastings, and ice cream bars, all under the warm Italian sun. Add to this amazing scenery, a history and culture that dates back to the Romans, and our hearty hospitality, and you have the perfect destination for the cycle tourist in search of the beauty of Italy and the pleasures of life.
Each day a bike tour to taste, taste and enjoy the best Italian food and wine:
- DAY 1 (Sunday): After a 70 km ride, we will arrive in Montetiffi, where there is a small craft workshop, the only one still active that makes the testo, the terracotta pan traditionally used to cook piadina. Together we will prepare the piada, cook it and enjoy it filled with local products and drink local wine.
Km 70 - 350 difference in altitude
- DAY 2 (Monday): A wonderful 75-km ride to reach Bertinoro, a famous wine village. We will visit the winery and its incredible Wine Museum, with bottles from all over the world and from all centuries. Then, we will have a wine tasting and lunch with typical products.
Km 75 - 300 difference in altitude
- DAY 3 (Tuesday): A 75-km ride to visit Verucchio, a wonderful Etruscan village, mentioned by Dante in the Divina Commedia. We visit the Franciscan convent: an experience you will remember! Afterwards, olive oil tasting and lunch at an agriturismo.
Km 70 - 300 difference in altitude
- DAY 4 (Wednesday): A 65-km bike tour, ending with lunch at a spectacular seaside resort. We will enjoy creative seafood in a lovely, original terrace restaurant with period wooden furniture. You will also have the opportunity to buy unique, handmade vintage items.

- DAY 5 (Thursday): Bike tour to discover Cesena, the city of the three Popes. Stop in the central Piazza del Popolo to eat a delicious ice cream.

- DAY 6 (Friday): After a 65 km ride, we will arrive in Sogliano, famous for its 'formaggio di fossa' cheese, which can be pure sheep or mixed, and is matured for three months in typical oval-shaped pits, dug into the rock. We will taste it together

The rhythm of these tours is very relaxed: few kilometres, small climbs, lots of stops and time for sightseeing - we want you to enjoy yourself!
